Horus ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you use the Horus mobile game and how it is used.
1. Information We Process
Depending on the features you use, Horus and its service providers may process:
- Device and app information (device type, OS version, app version, language, diagnostics).
- Advertising identifiers and ad interaction data (for ad delivery, anti-fraud, and performance).
- In-app purchase transaction data (product IDs, purchase/restore status; billing is handled by Google Play).
- Authentication and account-link status needed for backup/restore (for example: anonymous Firebase session, linked Google sign-in state, and Firebase UID).
- Wallet transaction and anti-fraud metadata in our backend (for example: Firebase UID, grant timestamps, compensation/giveaway ledger records, and wallet event audit fields such as signed deltas, before/after balances, event type/reason, app version, and timestamps).
- Support information you submit (topic, message content, optional Google account email if you sign in for support).
- Gameplay and settings data stored locally on your device (for progress and preferences).
2. How We Use Information
- Provide core game functionality and save your local progress/settings.
- Show and measure ads when ads are enabled.
- Process purchases and restore entitlements.
- Enable optional account backup/restore across reinstall when you link Google Sign-In.
- Prevent duplicate grants, maintain wallet integrity, and audit compensation/giveaway operations.
- Receive and respond to support requests.
- Monitor app stability, security, and performance.
3. Third-Party Services
Horus uses third-party services that may process data under their own privacy policies:
- Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads (advertising and measurement).
- Google Play Billing (in-app purchases).
- Google Sign-In (optional account backup linking and support sign-in).
- Firebase Auth / Cloud Firestore / Cloud Functions (authentication, wallet sync, support ticket submission, and related backend services).

4. Children and Families
Horus is published in compliance with applicable Google Play Families requirements. We do not knowingly request sensitive personal data from children. If you believe personal data from a child has been provided to us in error, contact us and we will review and remove it where applicable.
5. Data Storage and Retention
- Game progress and settings are primarily stored locally on your device.
- When account backup is linked, your wallet and entitlement state may be synced with backend services to support restore after reinstall.
- Support submissions may be stored in our backend for customer support and issue tracking.
- Wallet grant receipts and ledger records (including wallet event audit fields) may be stored in our backend for integrity, anti-fraud controls, reconciliation, and support investigations.
- Retention periods depend on operational, legal, and security needs.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Data may be shared only with service providers needed to operate the app (ads, billing, sign-in, support backend) and where required by law.
7. Your Choices
- You can purchase "remove ads" to disable ad experiences provided by the app.
- You can choose whether to link Google Sign-In for account backup and support.
- If not linked, the app may occasionally show an in-game reminder to help protect your game data from loss after uninstall or device change.
- You may uninstall the app to stop further data processing by the app on your device.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
9. International Processing
Depending on the service provider infrastructure, data may be processed in countries other than your own.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date.
